The exhibition Parallel Worlds focused on the influence of old and modern masters on contemporary art, tracing how the participating artists incorporate those sources of inspiration in their artistic language. Often looking at the world through the prism of art history, they meld everyday life with references to the giants of Western art – from Velazquez to Matisse or Picasso.
