Returning to Israel for their first-ever solo exhibition in Tel Aviv, Broken Fingaz present an entirely new body of paintings, bringing the vibrancy, energy, and dynamism of graffiti and street life to canvas. Situating their work within a modernist painterly tradition, Broken Fingaz continue to evolve the language of painting, finding new expressions for contemporary life through a rich vocabulary of gestures, forms, and colors.
Departing from the narrative-driven works they are best known for, these paintings see the artists further develop a more intuitive, abstract, and experimental approach to figuration.
