Christopher Hartmann: What I Want to Say is This

Christopher Hartmann’s widely acclaimed solo exhibition at Nassima (formerly Nassima Landau), What I Want to Say is This, followed the artist’s participation in Nassima’s inaugural High Voltage 2020. Hartmann’s body of work is an ode to tender moments and words left unsaid. Inspired by his personal experience with relationships, his oeuvre tells the story of the unease that settles when communication has broken down. Hartmann aptly identifies his paintings as pieces that show “communication falling short.”
