A Thousand Small Departures

In A Thousand Small Departures, Iosilzon brings the dandelion into a new series of paintings and ceramics. Both a collective and personal symbol, the dandelion becomes part of her fantastical world of green foliage and mythical figures. Iosilzon often speaks of “imagined landscapes, fragmented narratives, and spaces that feel both familiar and slightly out of reach.” In the exhibition, the dandelion becomes a way into those worlds, evoking childhood memories and a sense of play, while always remaining in a state of change.
