Masanori Handa’s (b. 1979, Japan) experimentations create a playful, impressionistic, but nonetheless contemplative world. Ephemeral encounters and events often serve as essential driving forces in his work. Locations, landscapes, and urban phenomena become the focal points where moments are captured and vividly preserved in Handa’s memory. His work has been exhibited at Ota Fine Arts, Singapore; The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens; The National Museum of Art, Osaka; and The Museum of Architecture, Wrocław among other institutions.
