Francisco Tavoni’s (b. 1986, Caracas, Venezuela) creates color-saturated photographic images, that are the result of film processes being manipulated in a new way, while using a gauzy fabric, which obscures the details of the photograph. The large -scale spectral, abstracted silhouettes in radiant hues can read as painted figures – effect created by mingling the mediums of photography and textile.
